Helping Young Minds Grow through Art
COVID -19 UPDATE
Unfortunately, in term 3 and 4 in 2021 we were unable to teach face-to-face art classes in schools due to Covid-19 restrictions. In term 4 2021 we are offered two 5-week online art courses for primary school students. Unfortunately in term 1, 2022 we once again were not able to teach our art classes in primary schools. We really miss teaching our wonderful students face-to-face and have our fingers crossed for term 2, 2022. Contact us if you would like to go on our waiting list for term 2 art classes at our schools.
HSC VISUAL ARTS AND SENIOR ARTS TUTORING
Gardens of the Mind works with students to assist them to develop their Visual Arts Body of Work and assessment tasks. These sessions are on a one-to-one basis. We assist students to learn about and develop confidence in their creative process as well as organisational and time management skills. We are able to help students discuss their work and put their work into an art theoretical framework. Tutoring is available for single or multiple sessions, online or face -to-face tutoring in our Alexandria studio. All tutors are practising artists experienced in developing multiple bodies of work in their own art practice.

OUR FUNDRAISING PROJECTS
In September 2021 we participated in the STEPtember 2021 Fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy and raised over $300 for this cause. In 2022 as in past years, Gardens of the Mind will continue to support fundraisers for children and rescue animals. Hopefully in 2022 will surpass our past fundraising goals
Our online programmes are supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW and the Creative Kids Program
