In term 4 art class 2019,the first project students explored was Australian Flora. Students talked about observing flora in their gardens and public spaces. We talked about shapes and textures in the flowers  and  trying to work 'large' whilst doing our  artworks. We looked at the paintings of Australian artist Margaret Preston and discussed her interesting life especially in the 1920's and 1930's.
